Random Wednesday Morning Musings

A-peeps:

I am ecstatic and bummed out that we are done. Getting the monster out of the way is always good, and not having to cram more knowledge into our heads than is possible to put in there is nice as well. It feels like after the final track meet of the season to me though... If you've never done track, imagine this: your last race is done, you are sore, sweaty and have taken your spikes off and put your sweats back on. There is nothing to do but to wander around the track or field with your teammates who are also done. If this was the last track meet of the season, then what next? There is always that mental feeling of anticlimactic hanging after something big... At least we'll have film as history!

Film as History. Don't forget your permission slips! Even if you are 18, you must have one signed. In this litigious world, covering the posterior is always a good idea. I so badly want to start with Children of Men, but it will fit better after Schindler. I am also excited to see what you guys find...

I'm sure I'll have more later. We have workshops this morning which mean that I will need an excuse to take a break and blog...
