VQ&D Binder

A-Peeps:

By Thursday the 25th, you will need to have a binder in class to keep your VQ&Ds. Here is the procedure for the next few VQ&Ds:
  • If you got a 30 or higher (out of 35) on the 1st VQ&D, you will self-assess your work in the form of a one-paragraph reflection. In this paragraph, I would like you to focus on what you did well, new learnings that you would like to share or questions/concerns you have about a thesis statement, analysis of a document, etc...
  • If you got a 29 or lower, I will check it very thoroughly until everything is done correctly.
This new system is not being done out of spite or malice, but out of a genuine desire to get everyone up to snuff as quickly as possible.

Oh, and if any of you know anything about RSS feeds, talk to me ASAP. I want to enhance this blog for you. From what I understand, if you subscribe to an RSS feed on this blog, you will receive an email update when I (or one of your classmates) posts on the blog.

Anglican Church to Apologize to Darwin?

http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/09/15/uk.church.darwin.apology.ap/index.html

I don't know about any of you, but I am kind of tired of public apologies, especially when the recipient is dead. We'll talk later about the Catholic Church pardoning Galileo...three hundred years after he died!
